Privacy by construction

entracte is the cookieless, RGPD-native alternative. Here is exactly what happens — and, more importantly, what never does.

No cookies. No localStorage. No device IDs.

The widget sets nothing on your device and sends no identifiers. Because nothing is stored on or read from the terminal, no consent banner is required (EDPB Guidelines 02/2023).

We never read your code or prompts.

Targeting uses only public page context — the programming language, framework or topic. Never your source, your conversations, or any personal profile.

IP is anonymized on write, and never used for targeting.

Geo comes from a coarse country header, not your IP. The IP itself is truncated (/16) the moment it arrives and feeds only a daily-rotating, pseudonymous fraud hash — which is deleted after 90 days.

Counting happens server-side.

Impressions and clicks are counted on our servers via one-time nonces, so there is no client-side tracker following you around.

Hosted in the EU. Do-Not-Track respected.

Data stays in Europe. The whole ad server is source-available, so these claims are auditable — see the Verify page.
